Moxie Media embraces multi-media solutions to a complex, demanding world. I’m an all-round, award-winning media professional who is passionate about influencing change on journalism trauma. I have a PhD and a Masters degree in journalism trauma, because I’m passionate in helping media workers stay working in the industry for as long as they want to, not because the job has become too much for them. I broke the story of a generation involving a paedophile ring in the Anglican Church which spanned three States, so I understand investigative journalism. I’ve worked in print, television and radio, media management including digital, social media and public relations, as well as corporate media training. I also have extensive teaching experience in several universities, including the University of Sydney, University of Notre Dame, University of New South Wales, and the University of South Australia.
Most importantly, I speak “journo”. It’s my native language, so I can help translate some of this serious academic research into your language, too, because this stuff really matters.
